Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Vamos Travel Korea ("Vamos a Jeju", "we", "us") handles the information you share through the Jeju Slowly website. Business registration no. 522-50-01130, Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea.

What we collect

Waiting list. Your name, email address and, if you tell us, which retreat you are interested in.

Email and Instagram messages. Whatever you choose to write to us, and your contact details.

Bookings. When you book 3 Days or 7 Days we collect the details needed to run the retreat: your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, nationality, and anything you tell us about your health, mobility or food that could affect your safety or comfort. Where a hotel requires it, we may also ask for passport details.

Payments. Payments are processed by our booking partner WeTravel (or by Airbnb for the Walk). We never see or store your full card number.

Why we collect it

To reply to you and to tell you about new dates, if you joined the waiting list.
To confirm and run your booking: hotels, meals, transport and the village visit.
To plan your experience safely (for example food, mobility or medical needs).
To keep the records a registered travel business in Korea is required to keep.

We do not sell your information. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement on the site to understand how visitors arrive; these do not receive your form details.

Sensitive information

Health, mobility and food details are used only to prepare for your retreat and are shared with a hotel or restaurant only as far as needed (for example an allergy). By giving them to us, you consent to our using them for this purpose. You may ask us to delete them at any time.

How it's processed

Website forms are delivered through Google Forms and stored in a Google Sheet that only we can access. Bookings and payments are handled by WeTravel under its own privacy policy. Email is handled through Google Workspace. The site also embeds a Spotify podcast player and an Instagram feed; when those load, Spotify and Meta may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies, and the latest journal posts are fetched from vamosajeju.com. We keep your information only as long as needed to handle your enquiry or booking, and for as long as Korean tax and travel-business rules require us to keep booking records.

Photographs

We take photographs during the retreats. We ask your permission before using a picture in which you can be recognised, and you can decline or withdraw that permission at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. Just email us and we'll take care of it.
