Terms & Booking Conditions

These conditions apply to bookings made with Vamos Travel Korea ("Vamos a Jeju", "we", "us") for the retreats and walks sold on the Jeju Slowly website.

Who we are

Vamos Travel Korea is a registered travel business in the Republic of Korea. Business registration no. 522-50-01130. Tourism business (general travel agency) registration no. 제2026-000011호, Gimpo City. Registered address: 7 Sau-jungro 74beon-gil, Felice 205-143, Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi-do. Our travel agency guarantee bond is held with SGI Seoul Guarantee Insurance.

How booking works

The Sea Women Walk is booked and paid through Airbnb, and Airbnb's own booking and cancellation terms apply to it.

3 Days is booked through our booking partner WeTravel, or by a payment link we send you after you email us. Your place is confirmed when your payment is received and we confirm it in writing. Prices are shown in US dollars. Any discount (for example the early-booking or twin-share discount) is applied at checkout or on the payment link; it cannot be claimed after payment.

7 Days is priced on request. We confirm the price, what is included and the payment schedule by email before you pay anything.

Group size

Each retreat runs with a minimum of four guests and a maximum of ten. If fewer than four guests have booked, we cancel the retreat and refund everything you have paid us in full. We tell you as early as we can, and no later than 60 days before the start date.

Cancellation & refunds

Founding Guests pilot (29-31 October 2026). The pilot is $100 per person, invoiced by payment link once your place is confirmed. That payment is non-refundable. With only nine places, a cancellation leaves a seat that is difficult to fill at short notice, so please confirm only if you are certain of the dates. If your plans do change, tell us as early as you can and we will try to pass the place on.

All other retreats. A deposit secures your place and is non-refundable. For the remaining balance:

Cancel 60 or more days before the start date: full refund of the balance.
Cancel 30-59 days before: 50% of the balance refunded.
Cancel within 30 days of the start date: balance is non-refundable.

If we cancel a retreat for any reason, including too few bookings, you receive a full refund of everything you have paid us. We are not responsible for flights, insurance or other costs you have arranged yourself, which is one reason travel insurance is required.

Refunds are made to the card or account you paid with, through the same channel, usually within 14 days.

Changes to the programme

The days are planned around the tides, the weather and the haenyeo's own schedules. The order of activities, the villages we visit and the timing of the haenyeo interview may change. We tell you as early as we can. A change of this kind is not grounds for a refund, but if a change materially reduces what was promised, we will offer a fair adjustment.

Travel insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation and medical care is required for the retreats. Policies need your personal details, so each guest arranges their own before the retreat. Retreat prices do not include insurance or flights.

Health and safety

The retreats involve gentle walking on uneven coastal paths and, on 3 Days, a half day at a temple. No diving or swimming is part of the programme. You are responsible for telling us before the retreat about any condition that could affect your safety or comfort, and for following the guidance of your hosts and of the haenyeo while in their village.

Photographs

We take photographs during the retreat. We ask your permission before using any picture in which you can be recognised, and you can decline.
